The 8th Anniversary Concert-Dream

All kinds of instruments have make the night remarkable.
Kampar:700 of audiences massed at the Heritage Hall entrance in the evening of 4th July early clutching the tickets of the 8th Anniversary Concert 2016-Dream. There were to be entertained by the flamboyantly amazing performance throughout the grand event organized by Chinese Orchestra Unit (COU) of UTAR.
Ng Joo Ying, the chairperson of the 8th Anniversary Concert expressed her appreciation towards the VIPs present, and especially towards her committee members in her opening speech for working hard together in preparing for the event.
She stated that, the main objective of the events is to promote the tradition and beauty of Chinese Orchestra instruments among the students as well as the public.
“Besides that ,this event also allow us to show to everyone that even though most instruments work well and sound good on its own, but the Chinese Orchestra Instruments still works the best together in a harmonious way to bring the audience an unforgettable moments.” Ng added.

Opening Ceremony was held by drumming.
She highlighted the another objective of this event is to raise funds for the COU in order to acquire new instruments, which can in turn allow the units to recruit new members into the club to further improve in their performance.
Approximately 12 songs were staged on that night including some masterpiece such as “Silk Road” and “ Horse Racing”, The members of COU have play all kind of Chinese orchestra instruments to make the performance more remarkable. The performance was done in ensemble or solo instrument ensemble. At the last part, they have played “The cowherd & The Weaver Girl” as ending, it makes audience sink in this song of love.
